Cajun in the Capital

The New Orleans Café is the first restaurant to bring the cooking of Louisiana to 18th Street in Adams Morgan. From beignets to brunch, the café is the perfect place to dine, snack or drink. Bardia says "the recipe to our success is made with roux and tomatoes. In 'Nawlins, your fingerprint is your gumbo. There are a thousand places makin' it a thousand ways. It took me years to come into my own." The 30-seat restaurant is an intimate reminder of the places found along Bourbon Street.
